First foals by All American
Monday, 28 August 2017 - Geisel Park manager Conor Dunlop has welcomed the first Sunspeed foals by Group 1 winning sire All American.
“Couldn't be happier with our first 3 All American foals on the ground,” Dunlop said. “And they’re from 3 maiden mares.”
All American – Soliloquy (Trade Fair) Colt
First foal of the season at Geisel Park by Group 1 winning racehorse and sire All American. This colt is related to Yippyio (G1 Queensland Derby) and Iglesia (G2 Silver Slipper Stakes).
All American – Our Trade Secret (Trade Fair) Colt
From a sister to LR Scenic Blast Stakes winner Cool Trade and Belmont winner Stock Trade. Second dam Around Jindabyne had another Trade Fair filly make $58,000 to Paula Wagg at the 2017 Perth Magic Millions.
All American – Spurred In Flight (Flying Spur) Filly
Dam is a Geisel Park homebred and a half-sister to USA winners Forest Hush (Macho Uno) and Bob’s Brew (Milwaukee Brew). Second-dam Forest Flight is a half-sister to USA Horse of the Year Skip Away.

All American Group 1 winner Yankee Rose returns to racing after 10 months on the sidelines in the G1 Memsie Stakes (1400m) at Caulfield this Saturday. Now a 4yo, she is a dual Group 1 winner of the Sydney Sires' Produce Stakes at two and the Spring Champion Stakes at three.
She finished a brave third behind Winx in last year's Cox Plate, but hasn't raced since failing in last November's VRC Oaks.
After having a bone chip removed from her near-side knee and battling issues caused by thin hooves, trainer David Vandyke admits he doesn't quite know what to expect this Saturday. "I’ve been happy with her preparation,” he said “But whether she can step up in this type of company first-up after such a long break has to be seen.”
All American was sold to Chatswood Stud in Victoria earlier this year after a one-off book of 113 mares at Geisel Park.
