Love strikes for Lindsay Park

Tuesday, 22 May 2018 - All Out Of Love is all of 17 hands and he’s ready to go to the next level after breaking a run of outs for Lindsay Park.

The long-striding son of All American came from last on the home turn to win the Museum Restoration Hcp (1600m) at Bendigo on Sunday. “Because he’s so big, it takes a while for him to wind up and get into full stride,” stable spokesman Russell Treloar said. “But he’s starting to hit his straps now and a strong mile is his best trip.”

All Out Of Love (4g All American - Latest Love by Favourite Trick) had been stakes-placed at Flemington as a juvenile and won up to 2000m at Caulfield as a three year-old while he was still growing.

“I wanted to be a bit closer but the speed was on and we had cover three-wide,” jockey Corey Parish explained. “Once I flicked the whip over to the left-hand, he found extra and finished over the top of them.”

Lindsay Park trainer David Hayes guided All American to a Group 1 victory over So You Think in the 2009 Emirates Stakes (1600m) at Flemington. He prepares All Out Of Love for a syndicate that includes his breeders Craig Easton and Stephen Boyle.

All American is back on deck at Geisel Park after owner Eddie Rigg bought him outright earlier this month. He covered 113 mares first-up for Rigg in 2016 and has returned to WA permanently following a season in Victoria.

The announcement sparked a flurry of winners headed by G1 Queensland Derby hopefuls Dark Dream and Kurnel Jaxon. His Victorian 3yo Sam’s Image is a last-start winner of the VOBIS Gold Dash (1100m) at Caulfield and trainer Peter Morgan is looking to back up in a Moonee Valley sprint on Saturday week, June 2.

All American will stand for an $7,700 (inc gst) service fee in 2018 alongside French Group 1 winning 2yo Vert De Grece (Verglas) who is priced at $5,500 (inc gst) for his second season at Geisel Park.
