Melbourne rider interested in Perth filly's return

A top Melbourne jockey will be a close observer of Fuddle Dee Duddle's performance when the two-year-old resumes at Ascot on Saturday.
Connections of the daughter of Red Ransom have decided to kick off Fuddle Dee Duddle's campaign in the Westspeed Plate (1000m) ahead of a likely trip to Victoria for the rich juvenile series in February.
Four-time Blue Diamond Stakes-winning ride Dwayne Dunn will be waiting to take over from Perth jockey Duncan Miller when the filly arrives in Melbourne.
The filly's managing owner Eddie Rigg told The West Australian the $250,000 Inglis Premier on Mornington Cup day would be Fuddle Dee Duddle's primary aim but a start in the $1 million Blue Diamond Stakes would be on the cards if the filly impressed.
"We expect her to go well on Saturday and to be on the plane the following Tuesday," Rigg said. "Fuddle trialled as well as could be expected on Monday.
"There is a $50,000 buyers' bonus on top of the first stake which makes the Inglis Premier a valuable race to win.
"She is entered in the Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper."
Fuddle Dee Duddle will be out to go one better than her half-sister Hallowell Belle, who finished second to the star colt Sepoy in last year's Blue Diamond Stakes.
